Classification of vent valves
The waterproof breathable valve is formed by injection molding, ultrasonic welding and other processes, and then combined with plastic, metal, silica gel and other materials to form a closed installation part. There are two important indicators to test the quality of waterproof vent valve, one is the air permeability, the other is the protection grade. The waterproof vent valve adopts advanced expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (e-PTFE) microporous membrane, which is carefully manufactured and produced. The microporous diameter of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane is 0.1-10 μ M, while the molecules of the gas are only 0.0004 μ M, the pore diameter is 250-25000 times larger than the gas diameter, so the gas can pass smoothly. The diameter of rainwater is 400 μ m. It is 40-4000 times of the micropore diameter. When the water vapor condenses into small water droplets due to the surface tension, large water droplets will be formed on the surface of the waterproof and breathable valve, which can prevent the penetration of liquid water medium, so it has good waterproof and breathable properties.
The waterproof vent valve has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, anti-aging, chemical resistance, etc., and can be used in harsh environments. The waterproof, dust-proof and oil discharge grades of the waterproof vent valve can reach ip6k9k.
